Manual File Upload in the Portal
CommerceHub recommends managing your inventory in the Portal by uploading flat-files if you:
-
- Have more than a few items in your assortment
- Feel comfortable working with spreadsheet templates
You learned how to upload Inventory files to CommerceHub’s Dsco platform in the last step, but can be reminded of the steps to do so by clicking the teal Guide Me above or you read this article here.
A Quick Reminder on Next Steps
As you learned in the last step, you can upload your flat-file to your account using the template format of your choice. If you need a quick refresher on how to check the success of that upload, please click the Guide Me button above. For more details on the file formats available to you, you can check out the Dsco Standard article here or the Data Mapper article here.
Otherwise, if you need help with understanding error messages in your import logs, this article will help.
Once you have successfully updated the quantity of a single item, please paste the item’s SKU into the text box below, then click VERIFY UPDATE button. (Coming Soon) You’ll then be ready to start generating test orders in the next step.
