Saks Off 5th Updating Inventory (Item Update) - Automated EDI Upload via AS2

By: Karianne Muckle

Updating Inventory with EDI

During the last step, you and the Dsco support team set up an AS2 connection so that you’d be able to send your first EDI document to Dsco. So that you can update your inventory quantities now, you’ll use the same Import Job to send a second 846 file to your account.

NOTE: Some retailers require inventory levels to be provided by warehouse location. Please confirm with your trading partner on their requirements for inventory maintenance.

A Memory Jogger

As a reminder, if there are issues with your EDI Import the email address(es) specified in the settings of your Import Job will be sent automatic notification. To review how to manually check import logs from the Automation History page in your Dsco Portal, you can click the Guide Me button above.

Otherwise, if you need help with understanding error messages in your import logs, this article will help.

Once you have successfully updated the quantity of a single item, please paste the item’s SKU into the text box below, then click VERIFY UPDATE button. You’ll then be ready to start generating test orders in the next step.
