Initial Account Configuration

Now that you have a Dsco platform account, it’s time to configure your account settings. You can update those settings at any time by clicking the small gear icon in the bottom left corner of your Portal navigation bar, then selecting Settings from the pop-up menu. The options in your Settings sub-menu are explained below.

    • General Account Settings

The General Accounts Settings page lists different general settings for your company’s account. Important fields on this page include:

          • Timezone Information – This allows you to set the timezone you’d like data to be stamped with in CommerceHub’s Dsco platform
          • Order Notifications – This allows you to receive an email notification for any new orders your retail partner has sent to your Dsco platform account.
          • Return Notifications – This is similar to the Order Notifications field, but for order return requests submitted by your retail partner through the Dsco platform.
          • SLA Notifications – This is similar to the Order and Return Notification fields, but allows your retail partner to notify you of orders which aren’t shipped on time in your Dsco platform account.

    • Company Profile

On this page, you can enter your company information into the Dsco platform. The information here will be used to contact you in case of business questions or systems issues by CommerceHub.

    • Mapping Settings
          • Cancel Code Mapping– Cancel code mapping allows you to customize the cancellation codes you send to your account, rather than using the Dsco platform default codes. You can find out more about cancellation codes here.
          • Return Code Mapping – This feature allows you to customize codes for detailing reasons for a returned order.
          • Ship Mapping – Ship Mapping allows you to set the service-level codes you send and receive on orders to help you avoid updating your system to conform with Dsco platform codes. You can read more on the feature here.

    • Warehouse Manager

The warehouse manager tracks all of the warehouses of your company. Setting up at least one warehouse in your Dsco platform account is required for you to proceed in the onboarding process.

If you have only one warehouse, or your warehouse is also the address of your main business, create a single warehouse using the appropriate address. If you have multiple warehouses, please add each with a unique warehouse code and the appropriate addresses. The warehouse code is a code you choose, and should not be assigned by your retail partner.

NOTE: If you have multiple warehouses, you must account for each warehouse code on your inventory feed files. You can find more information about warehouse management here. Please also make sure with your retailer whether they will require warehouse fields for inventory and shipment files in your Dsco platform account.

    • Users

You can create or edit user information, set user permissions, and request password changes from this page. For more information about getting the most out of this page, see the article here.

If you have multiple Dsco platform accounts and would like them linked so that you can manage multiple accounts directly from the Portal, you can contact dscopartnersetup@commercehub.com. Find more information about this feature here.
