NOTE: If you have multiple Dsco platform accounts and would like them linked, please contact dscopartnersetup@commercehub.com. Visit the Dsco platform support site for more information about Multi-Account Management.
Where do I find my account settings?
Now that you have a Dsco platform account, it is time to configure its settings.
You can find your settings by hovering your mouse over the gear icon next to your company name in the top right corner of the page, then selecting Settings. Note that you can also quickly search any support article by selecting Support in the same place on the page.
General
The General Accounts Settings page lists different general settings for your company’s account. Please make sure that all the fields have been filled in appropriately. Pay special attention to the following sections:
- Timezone Information – CommerceHub’s Dsco platform uses timezones to accurately describe the transfer of data between you and your retail partner. Please set your timezone appropriately.
- Order Notifications – If you would like to receive an email for each order you receive, then please enter the email address(es) of whomever should receive these emails (Warning: if you receive a lot of orders, then you will receive a lot of emails). To enter multiple addresses simply separate them with a comma.
- SLA Notifications – Please enter the email address or addresses of whomever should receive an email when an order hits an SLA. To enter multiple addresses simply separate them with a comma.
Company Profile
On this page, please ensure that you list the contact information of whomever should be contacted in case of business questions or system issues. This person will be the point of contact between you and CommerceHub for the platform.
Mapping Settings
These settings enable you to customize specific codes that are sent to and received from the Dsco platform. There are three types of codes you can customize – cancel codes, return codes, and shipping codes.
Cancel Code Mapping
Cancel code mapping allows you to customize the codes you send to your account for cancellations. Instead of having to use the default Dsco platform cancellation codes such as CXSS or CXSC, you can use the Cancel Code Mapping tool to customize the codes to those you prefer. You can find more information regarding cancellation codes here.
Return Code Mapping
Chewy will not be processing returns through CommerceHub’s Dsco platform. Please ignore the Return Code Mapping section.
Ship Mapping
Ship mapping is a useful feature that allows you to dictate what type of shipping code you receive from the Dsco platform for any type of shipment. Instead of receiving the Dsco platform default shipping service level codes like FESD or UPSS, you can enter your own values (exactly like the cancel code mapper above). This should help eliminate the need to recode your systems to transact shipment information with CommerceHub’s Dsco platform. If you have further questions, you can read more about ship mapping here.
Notification Settings
These are settings that are not relevant for your Chewy connection. Please ignore these settings.
Pricing Tiers
Pricing tiers are only used by suppliers who are using one single Dsco platform account to manage multiple retailers. This is a very rare setup – if you are in this situation you can read more about setting up pricing tiers on the Dsco support site.
Users
This is where you can add additional Dsco platform users for your company. Create new users by selecting the Add User button and entering his or her information. There are three user roles within the Dsco platform: Admin, Normal, and Read-Only. For more info on user management visit the Dsco platform support site.
Warehouse Manager
The warehouse manager tracks all the warehouses of your company. This information is required by the Dsco platform.
If you have only one warehouse or your warehouse is also the address of your main business, create a single warehouse with that address. If you have multiple warehouses, please add each with a unique warehouse code. The warehouse code can be anything you would like. It is your own code and will NOT be assigned by Chewy.
The warehouse address will be used to optimize delivery calculation for most orders in your account. With your warehouse address in the Dsco platform, we can calculate on-time delivery based on shipment path, expected delivery date, and carrier shipping level.
NOTE: Chewy requires you to provide warehouse information. You will need to provide the retailer warehouse code on inventory feeds as well as shipment feeds in order to do business with Chewy. If this is not set up correctly, Chewy will not accept your inventory updates.
